Asian Water Monitors

Asian Water Monitors

The species we live and breathe — Varanus salvator.

Varanus salvator is one of the most intelligent, interactive, and rewarding monitors a dedicated keeper can own. At Monitor Ops I specialize in them exclusively — Black Dragons, albino projects, Ice Dragons, and the Guru line — every animal captive-bred and worked with by hand.

Why water monitors
01

Why water monitors

Few reptiles match a water monitor for presence. They're problem-solvers, they recognize their keepers, and an animal you keep putting the work into becomes a genuine companion rather than an ornament. They're also a commitment — a large, powerful, semi-aquatic lizard — and I keep, breed, and place them with that reality front and center.

What I produce
02

What I produce

Black Dragons, the coral albino and het projects, the Ice Dragon high-white line, and the Guru line. Everything is captive-bred and captive-born, and I put the socialization groundwork in from the day it hatches — then hand that work over to you to keep building on.
